Gear up for the second Game Week – where the magic of gaming unfolds! It’s not just an event; it’s a synergy of video game partners, immersive tech, and esports in Breda. Our goal? An annual gaming celebration uniting industry leaders, talents, tech, and capital to elevate our video game scene.

Why Breda? It’s a gaming haven with a rich entrepreneurial history and the globally #3 ranked BUas game school, making waves in the industry.

The inter(national) development of games is moving at a very fast pace. Not only in terms of technology. The overlap with film, toys, education and other sectors is also becoming increasingly clear. The use of game engines, the software used to produce and play games, has a major impact on the production process of digital media but also other sectors such as architecture and healthcare.

Together with the municipality of Breda and the province of North Brabant, we have set up a €13.4 million game hub: a hub for education, geo- munity, entrepreneurship and ecosystem growth. In this way, through Breda, we connect the international game hubs in the UK, Flanders, the Rhine region and the Paris region.
