Ready Set Go! Dutch Game Week 2025 🕹️

Get ready for Dutch Game Week 2025 and dive into the world of play!

From 27 November to 4 December, Breda transforms into the ultimate playground for everything games. It’s more than just an event – it’s a dynamic celebration of game art and development, publishing, esports, applied gaming, and immersive technology.

Since its debut in 2023, Playgrounds has been the driving force behind Dutch Game Week, bringing together key players from Breda’s vibrant gaming scene – part of an (inter)national hub for applied technology and creativity.

Breda is home to over 4,000 students pursuing studies in video games, immersive content, esports, digital art, and related disciplines. Notably, BUas’s Creative Media and Game Technologies program is globally recognized and consistently ranks among the world’s top three in video game education.

Dutch Game Week attracts a broad and passionate audience: from indie developers and leading studios to investors, students, families, and fans. It’s a week where professionals and the public come together to exchange ideas, discover new talent, and celebrate the power of games.

The 2025 edition includes talks, industry meet-ups, showcases, workshops, tournaments, and more. And with the Dutch Game Awards taking place on 3 December at the Chassé Theater, this year’s edition is shaping up to be our most exciting yet.
